We at Attendo are now looking for a care assistant to Hovsjövägen in Södertälje. Attendo Hovsjövägen is a modern and pleasant nursing home with the concept of Culture & Leisure. Here, you will find proximity to beautiful natural surroundings and a lovely garden. The residence has 54 apartments, 18 places focused on somatic care, and 36 places focused on dementia care.

About the role

As a care assistant with us, you play a crucial role in creating a safe and stimulating environment for our customers. You are responsible for providing good care and support to our customers. Creating a positive and social atmosphere during meals is a significant part of your role, as well as contributing to various activities that brighten the daily life of our elderly.

Your tasks include, among others:

• Personal care according to the organization's routines based on the customer's individual needs and wishes

• If necessary, assist with preparing, cooking, and serving meals, cleaning, laundry, etc.

• Perform documentation and work according to decided interventions

• Collaborate with external and internal contacts such as guardians, relatives, residents, nurses, and rehabilitation staff.

Qualifications

• Care assistant education of at least 1350 points.

• Professional certificate from the National Board of Health and Welfare or a certificate from current/former employer regarding permanent employment as a care assistant.

• Good knowledge of the Swedish language (spoken and written)

• Good computer skills/computer familiarity

Meritorious:

• Experience in care work in elderly care

• Experience with delegation.
