The job involves many customer contacts every day via phone and email. Questions range from simple information inquiries to more complex situations where you need to search for information in multiple systems while professionally addressing the customer. Job Responsibilities

As a customer service assistant, you are an important contact point between our customers, waste contractors, and the organization. You work independently to guide customers and drive cases forward by:

  • Answering questions via phone and email about waste, water, and sewage.
  • Receiving and registering orders, changes, and administrative matters.
  • Informing and advising about our services and contributing to more environmentally conscious choices.
  • Searching for information internally and externally to find the right solutions.
  • Acting as a link between the organization and contractors performing waste collection.
  • Handling documents that generate invoices and other administrative tasks.

You will work in several IT systems and gain a broad network of contacts as well as good insight into the organization. The job often involves handling multiple parallel cases simultaneously, and you are responsible for following up and closing them. You will receive introduction and support from colleagues but are expected to quickly become comfortable working independently within given frameworks.

We are currently in an exciting development phase where we are investing in new working methods and modern technology to meet future customer needs.

Qualifications

Who are you?

In this position, great emphasis is placed on your personal qualities. The role requires you to be comfortable with phone contact and enjoy having daily dialogue with customers. The work involves phone-based customer service for most of the workday, where you handle both simpler and more demanding customer cases professionally and credibly. We are looking for someone with a strong sense of service, who is solution-oriented and can address customers in a professional manner even in more challenging situations. You need to be able to work independently, take responsibility for driving your cases forward, and actively seek the information needed to provide accurate answers. The role also requires you to prioritize your work, maintain structure in your cases, and deliver good service even when the work pace is high. After the introduction, you are expected to quickly be able to work independently within given frameworks and take full responsibility for your customer cases while contributing to good collaboration within the team.

  • Can independently take responsibility for driving several parallel customer cases from start to finish.
  • Have good problem-solving skills and high stress tolerance.
  • Are meticulous and organized in your work.
  • Enjoy collaboration and are happy to share ideas with colleagues.
  • Are curious and quickly learn new tasks and various digital systems.
  • Take personal responsibility and make decisions within given frameworks.

We are looking for someone who has:

  • A high school diploma.
  • At least three years of experience in similar work from customer service, call centers, or other customer service roles via phone, or other experience that the employer assesses as equivalent.
  • Good ability to quickly search for and interpret information in digital systems and communicate it clearly to customers.
  • Very good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing, as well as basic knowledge of English. Additional language skills are an advantage.

It is advantageous if you have:

  • Experience in customer service via chat or social media.
  • Worked with issues related to water and sewage or waste.
  • Knowledge of regulations related to property owners and businesses.
  • Previous experience in case management in digital systems is particularly advantageous.
