The Technical Service Administration is Trelleborg Municipality's enabling administration. We are a safe, secure, and value-creating resource that works proactively, efficiently, and sustainably together with those who live, work, and spend time in Trelleborg Municipality. The administration's five departments have overall responsibility in different areas for planning, managing, and developing public spaces. We do this, for example, by maintaining the municipality's public places, waste management, sewage management, water supply, and infrastructure. We also deliver internal services such as operation and maintenance of the municipality's facilities, cleaning, system management, and IT support.

The Workplace
Drift & service is one of the units within the property department, where we are 20 employees responsible for the municipality's commitments in property management.

Our workplace is within Trelleborg Municipality's geographical area, and we are based at Sjöviksvägen 6 in Trelleborg. Here we work together with other technical units and share, among other things, office spaces, storage, changing rooms, lunchrooms, and parking. The service vehicle is our mobile workplace that we are responsible for and spend part of our working time in.

As two colleagues are retiring and a third has chosen to move on to another job, we are now looking for three new colleagues to our unit who want to work as property technicians with us.

Job Responsibilities
In the role of property technician, you will be responsible for handling technical fault reports, troubleshooting, and addressing minor faults. At the office, you will prepare and administer your fault reports/orders. Out at our customers, you will be responsible for and perform tasks that have come in via fault reports or through our property system. In the work as a property technician, you will perform maintenance work, preventive and corrective work, as well as planned maintenance. Operation and monitoring and periodic functional checks of technical installations are also part of your work. You will monitor warranty measures together with managers, order from subcontractors, and perform administrative tasks related to the service. It is expected of you that you consciously include environmental aspects in all your assessments in your work.

You are an important link in the interaction with our customers, who have high demands for service and support. Your work is varied, where you work both in the office and on-site with our customers.

Qualifications
You are an educated property/operation technician, or you have a vocational training that is relevant to the work as a property technician. Furthermore, you have professional experience in property technical work where customer contact has been included. For the position, it is required that you have technical knowledge in several areas that fall within property management.

It is a requirement that you have a B driver's license for a manual transmission vehicle and for the position good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written.

It is an advantage if you have good computer skills specifically within the area of property systems. Furthermore, it is advantageous if you have worked as an electrician, have experience from the construction industry and/or have worked with ventilation. For the position as a property technician, it is also advantageous if you have knowledge and experience of working from an environmentally conscious perspective and can suggest energy-saving measures.

As a person, you always act responsibly, are meticulous, and perform the work in a service-oriented manner, focusing on the assignment as a property technician. Since a large part of the work involves extensive contacts with customers, citizens, and colleagues, we have high demands for a professional approach and good communication skills. It is important for the position that you have good collaboration skills but also that you enjoy working independently. You are service-oriented, driven, and take responsibility for your tasks and your role as a property technician. We will place great emphasis on personal qualities in this recruitment.
