We are now looking for a property caretaker for Scandic Helsingborg Nord and Scandic Go, Upplandsgatan 4.

What does the role entail?

As a property caretaker with us at Scandic, your primary focus is to keep the hotel in great condition for our guests. Scandic is a tenant and is operationally responsible for both the hotel property and the building. The work largely takes place in hotel rooms and other guest areas, resulting in many greetings in the corridors to our guests - this is precisely where we demonstrate our excellent service.

In your role, you will work with daily operations as well as planned and corrective maintenance of the hotel's premises and installations such as doors, locks, furnishings, and equipment in hotel rooms, gym, kitchen, restaurant, conference, pool, and sauna/relax. Actions for optimizing the building's climate systems, heating, and ventilation, as well as readings of consumptions are also included.

Additionally, the role includes working with the hotel's fire and safety, property management, and maintenance, both preventive and emergency. Sustainability is an important guiding principle, and you will actively work to integrate it into our working methods. The operations involve some regulatory requirements, and you will be involved in many of these. Structure, accuracy, drive, and flexibility are important traits; you have an eye for detail and enjoy being around people and working in a changing environment. You report to a Property Manager.

Who are you?

We are looking for someone with a technical education and experience in property management. You have knowledge in one of the areas of electrical, plumbing, or control technology. Knowledge of fire safety is necessary for the position, as well as training in fire alarm & sprinkler systems and certification. Additionally, you have computer skills and good knowledge of Swedish and English.

Information about the position:

The position is a permanent full-time employment. The position is a full-time role at the following hotels: Scandic Helsingborg Nord and Scandic Go Upplandsgatan 4. The position may also include evenings and weekends as needed. We apply a probationary period.
