Imagine contributing to something that truly matters.
Every day. With us, you help ensure that thousands of people have access to clean water and functioning sewage systems – a given in everyday life, but crucial for society.
Are you a person who is passionate about technology, enjoys solving problems, and wants to work long-term with sustainable solutions? Then you might be the one we are looking for, as we are replacing our retired colleague.
About the role
As an Electrical and Automation Technician, you will be an important part of our team. You will work with the operation, maintenance, and development of our electrical installations as well as automation and control systems at our water and sewage facilities. Your work ensures that our facilities operate stably, efficiently, and are updated according to current requirements and modern technology.
Here you will have a role that encompasses both responsibility and development opportunities – where your skills truly make a difference.
Your role and responsibilities
Your main tasks include:
- Troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of electrical installations, instruments, and control systems
- Installation and commissioning of new equipment
- Electrical installations in process environments
- Basic electrical design and programming
- Documentation of facilities and control systems
You will work both independently and in close collaboration, partly in project form with colleagues in electrical, operations, process, and maintenance.
What we offer you
- A values-driven workplace where care, clarity, and a forward-looking attitude permeate the organization.
- Opportunities for further education and skills development.
- A socially important role in a company where sustainability is at the center.
- Through your role and personality, the opportunity to influence and develop both technology and working methods.
With us, you get not just a job – you get a chance to be part of something bigger.
This is you
We believe that you who apply have completed a technical education in electrical engineering, automation, control, and regulation technology or equivalent acquired knowledge. You also have several years of practical experience in industrial automation and/or electrical installation in an industrial environment. It is particularly valuable for the role if your experience comes from the water and sewage industry, if you have experience in commissioning and calibration of process instruments, or if you have previously worked with electrical design.
As the facilities are complex and need to communicate with each other in an efficient and quality-assured manner, it is advantageous if you have previous experience in industrial communication and telecommunications.
Other qualification requirements:
- Basic IT skills and a digital working method
- Valid B driver's license (manual transmission)
- Good language skills in both Swedish and English
In addition, we place great emphasis on your personal qualities, where we are looking for someone who is structured, self-driven, and proactive. You have a natural ability to identify problems and solve them in a quality-assured and efficient manner. You are meticulous, confident in yourself and your profession, and used to working both independently and in a team.
Conditions and application
The position is a permanent employment, with a six-month probationary period. Your working hours are on weekdays. On-call duty may occur.
A background check is conducted on the final candidates.
We apply ongoing selection, so you should apply for the position as soon as possible. However, no later than March 22. We warmly welcome your application!
