Then the job as a maintenance mechanic might be just right for you.

In this role, you will work as a mechanic, where you will play an important role in preventing and ensuring that maintenance and operational safety requirements for our machines are met.

This will require you to put internal customers first. You will be part of a team of 23 competent employees working in the areas of mechanics, electrical/automation, and working in large, open, and orderly premises in Lund.

Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost are key principles within our production system ALPS and form the foundation on which our production is built. In ALPS, you will be involved in the important work of improvements, 5S, and standardized working methods. Therefore, it is of utmost importance that you are interested in both developing yourself and our operations.

The position is a permanent employment and you will work a 2-shift variant, where on-call duty may occur at nights and weekends. Lernia only manages the recruitment process.

* Preventive maintenance and improvements on existing production equipment.

* Troubleshooting on machines in urgent cases.

* Ordering spare parts.

* Contacting subcontractors.

* Solving tasks that arise and reporting in maintenance systems.

As a person, you are a team player; it is natural for you to work in a group and you have the ability to adapt for the benefit of the group. You are not afraid to drive your own projects to solve a task. You are humble, responsible, meticulous, customer-focused, and thrive in an environment with many contact points.

• High school education with a focus on mechanics/hydraulics or equivalent knowledge acquired in another way as a maintenance technician.

• Knowledge in machining such as turning, milling, drilling. Experience in welding and PLC is a plus.

• Previous relevant experience from previous jobs/interests.

The increased interest in energy-saving products is driving the demand for the Swedish industrial group Alfa Laval's plate heat exchangers. Therefore, Alfa Laval's factory in Lund is being expanded to double its size, from 35,000 to 65,000 square meters. This is the company's largest investment in Lund since 1978. Today, around 1,300 people work at Alfa Laval in Lund, of which 530 are at the factory. The expansion of the factory is expected to create an additional 100 jobs.
