Job Advertisement: Researcher in Resilient Meals
Stockholm Resilience Centre (SRC) explores how people and nature can live and develop within the planet's boundaries.
The centre is a collaboration between Stockholm University and the Beijer Institute of Ecological Economics at the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences. We bring together people from around the world to research, study, and collaborate for a vibrant and resilient biosphere that enables well-being for all.

Job Responsibilities
Your tasks are linked to PLATE – the research centre for resilient meals and include the following:
- Collection and compilation of quantitative and qualitative data.
- Assist practically in research experiments, including in gastronomy.
- Support various types of events in collaboration with our partners.
- In collaboration with researchers, contribute to writing reports and articles.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone interested in how the meal sector can transition to increased sustainability and enhanced preparedness. Applicants should have a Master's degree in natural sciences and experience working with Life Cycle Assessments in food systems. You should be able to write scientific and popular science texts in both Swedish and English, and have good communication and collaboration skills. Experience of practical work within the meal sector, including in the restaurant industry, is an advantage.
About the Employment
The position is full-time for 6 months, with the possibility of extension up to a maximum of 12 months. Stockholm University applies individual salary setting. Start date as soon as possible.
