We are now looking for a digital care assistant for a temporary position within the Social Services IT unit for development and support.

About the job

As a digital care assistant, you will work to make care accessible in new ways. You will meet residents and colleagues through chat, video calls, and other digital tools. The work is an important part of the municipality's investment in digitalization and takes place in close collaboration with several different professions.

You will be part of the Social Services IT unit for development and support – an engaged team with broad competence in welfare technology, system management, and business development. Together, we drive digitalization forward to create a smarter and more accessible welfare.

Job responsibilities

The content of the position may evolve over time in line with the needs of the business and digital development. Your tasks include, among other things:

• Performing interventions through digital communication tools and supporting residents in using digital tools and welfare technology.
• Meeting needs, working preventively, and creating security even in digital meetings.
• Collaborating closely with other professional roles within social services.
• Actively contributing to the work of developing social services' digitalization.

Qualifications

• Trained care assistant with experience of working within social services.
• Very good digital competence and confidence in using technology in daily work.
• Very good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.
• Service-oriented, curious, and solution-focused with the ability to create trust in digital meetings.

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability and collaboration skills.

For positions where a license/valid proof from the National Board of Health and Welfare for protected professional title is required, this must be submitted before employment.

Language assessment is conducted for certain professional groups before employment can be considered.

Criminal record checks are carried out for all employment within the social administration.

For employment within HVB operations, an extract from the HVB home is requested.

For employment in services aimed at children with disabilities, extracts for children with disabilities and verification of personal information are requested.

For other employment within the social administration, an extract for verification of personal information is requested.

If the extract is not digital, it must be brought in an unopened envelope during the verification.
