About our job opening

We are looking for a specialist physician in gastroenterology/hepatology who wants to work with us in endoscopy combined with ward and outpatient clinic work.

Here, you will be part of a team characterized by innovative thinking, developing modern working methods with a high degree of patient participation, and constantly pushing to be at the forefront of our specialty.

You will work at a local and just right sized hospital, large enough to accommodate both breadth and specialist competence, and just right to truly be seen and heard in your profession. There are also opportunities for research and clinical training through our modern knowledge center.

About us

The medical team in gastroenterology consists of 3 specialists and 3 resident doctors, working closely with dedicated nurses. The team is driven by a strong sense of teamwork, years of expertise, and immense commitment to the work. The team is heavily involved in the development of the organization as a whole, and we would love for you to contribute to this effort.

Gastroenterology is part of the medical department, which is responsible for the care of patients within the entire internal medicine field. The work also includes on-call or backup duties within internal medicine.

Your profile

You are a licensed physician with a specialist certificate in gastroenterology. You have proficiency in Swedish at a level equivalent to C1. Research experience or a desire to conduct research is a plus.

As a person, you enjoy collaborating across professional boundaries and have a willingness to work in a team. You are development-oriented and, of course, have a good approach to patients and colleagues.
