Medborgarskolan is a study association with a humanistic value base that exists throughout the country. Our courses and cultural activities engage nearly a million participants each year. Medborgarskolan region East is a non-profit association that, in addition to traditional folk education, also conducts corporate training, preschool, and daily activities for people with disabilities. Region East includes Blekinge, Småland, and Östergötland.

Do you love spreading joy, music, and creativity? We are looking for someone who wants to brighten the everyday lives of our elderly through activities such as chair dancing, crafting, sing-alongs, and other fun moments!

About the position

As an activity leader in our nursing homes, you will work on an hourly basis and create meaningful and joyful experiences for our residents. You will plan and lead activities that strengthen community, movement, and creativity. No day is the same!

Responsibilities

• Lead activities such as chair dancing, sing-alongs, crafting, and creation
• Inspire and motivate participants to join based on their abilities
• Contribute to comfort and community in the residence
• Collaborate with our staff to create a safe and fun environment

We are looking for someone who

• Has experience leading groups, preferably in elderly care or cultural/creative fields
• Is positive, flexible, and highly engaged
• Can adapt activities to the needs and abilities of participants
• Enjoys singing, dancing, crafting, or otherwise creating joy
