About Us

The operating department at NÄL is one of the three units of the AnOpIVA clinic. The others are the operating department at Uddevalla hospital and the intensive care unit at NÄL. We facilitate surgeries and treatments primarily in surgery, orthopedics, gynecology/obstetrics, and ear-nose-throat. The operation runs 24/7, with an even distribution between elective and emergency cases. We offer many colleagues, and the facilities are state-of-the-art with the latest technology and equipment. Working hours are adapted to the operations with individual scheduling.

About You

As an operating room nurse, you are an important player in the surgical team alongside the surgeon, anesthetist nurse, nursing assistant, and anesthesiologist. Your focus is on good care and high patient safety for the patient you are currently attending to, but also on a conscious flow thinking where you, together with the team, have a plan for upcoming patients.

You enjoy working at a varied pace where challenging and demanding situations are a natural part of the job.

Qualifications

Licensed nurse with specialized training in operating room nursing.
