We are now strengthening our Stockholm Project department with a Designer/Preparation Engineer.

Stockholm Project, an expert organization with established and new customers within our various segments and services. We design and execute infrastructure projects for energy producers and network owners.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Your work will be varied, and you will work both in the field in forest and land, in urban environments, and in the office. You will have ongoing contact with landowners, customers, and authorities where your task is to ensure quality based on customer requirements and to develop Omexom's technical solutions and work documents for the electricity grid. The work includes both technical and administrative parts, where you act as an important link between the project team, landowners, authorities, and other stakeholders.

Travel may occasionally be required for visits to landowners and customers.

You will be responsible for:

• preparing documentation, preparations, and necessary documents for the execution of electricity grid projects.

• ensuring quality of preparations according to EBR standards and customer requirements, as well as providing technical support in various phases of the project.

• developing technical solutions and performing network and land calculations.

• material orders.

• ongoing contact with landowners, customers, and authorities.

The position of Preparation Engineer is based in Stockholm and you will report to the Group Manager. Furthermore, this is a permanent position with a six (6) month probation period.

YOUR PROFILE

We are looking for someone with at least three (3) years of experience in preparation/design of construction of power lines, cable cabinets, and substations from Electrical, Land/Construction, or Building/Construction. You should also have a technical education from a vocational college or equivalent, and have a good command of Swedish, both spoken and written. Additionally, you should have good computer skills and a B driver's license.

You have experience and good knowledge of EBR Standards, AMA, and the systems Guru, NETBAS, or DP-Power.

Furthermore, you have a good command of Swedish in both spoken and written form and possess good skills in the Office suite and hold a B driver's license.

We are looking for someone who can independently drive their work with good planning. You are well aware of finding technical solutions that are safe to implement in the field. To find the best technical solutions, you have good analytical skills and propose solutions that match the business and customer needs. Additionally, you are used to collaborating with different types of people.
