Your Responsibilities

As an HVAC/Refrigeration Engineer, you will be a central part of Granlund's Swedish organization and work on projects ranging from early concept studies to commissioning and follow-up. You will be responsible for understanding the client's requirements and translating them into technical solutions that meet high standards for safety, reliability, and energy efficiency.

Your work will involve design, technical calculations, producing drawings and specifications, as well as coordination with clients, internal disciplines, and external suppliers. You will also participate in site visits, inspections, and commissioning. The role requires you to keep up with the technical developments in cooling and energy systems and contribute to shaping the future data center solutions together with experienced and engaged colleagues.

The position is full-time with a start date to be agreed upon. Granlund Sweden has its office in Lidköping, but the position can advantageously be based in other locations within the country. Since many of our projects are connected to Sweden's larger cities, regular travel is required.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone with a post-secondary education in HVAC or refrigeration technology and a background in the field that allows you to confidently take responsibility in technically complex projects. Since the majority of our assignments are project-based, it is advantageous to have previously worked in project environments. You have a good understanding of cooling and heating systems and experience in design, preferably with knowledge of programs such as AutoCAD, Revit, MagicCAD, or Navis. Experience from data centers or substations is a plus, as is familiarity with working in project formats and collaborating with multiple technical disciplines.

As a person, you are analytical, responsible, and curious. You thrive in an environment where you are expected to drive your own work forward but also seek support from colleagues when needed. You are unpretentious, positive, and easy to collaborate with. You are fluent in both Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
