About the workplace

Matomsorg, the meal organization of the care and social services administration, delivers food and meals to our operations - 365 days a year! We who work within Matomsorg are distributed across several different workplaces; four production kitchens, one office, and the city's special housing. Together, we work towards the common goal of offering good meals that enhance the quality of life and add a touch of gold to our customers' everyday lives.

We are now looking for a chef for the production kitchens at Lundhagen's nursing home in Kattarp. Here we cook from scratch for the residents of Lundhagen and Tuvehagen.

Job responsibilities

You will be part of a team consisting of three chefs who together prepare about 200 portions a day. The work is led by the kitchen manager, and tasks may vary between large pots, special diets, or texture-adapted diets. In addition, all other types of tasks performed in the kitchen are included, such as packing, portioning, cleaning, and dishwashing.

Qualifications

We are looking for a trained chef with broad knowledge. A few years of experience from both the private and public sectors is seen as a positive. As the green transition is a focus area, you should have an interest in the connection between food, climate, and food production.

You need to have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, as well as basic IT skills.

It is an advantage if you have:

• knowledge of dietary data systems, Mashie or equivalent
• experience working with texture-adapted meals and special diets
• good knowledge of self-control and HACCP.
