Experienced Sous Chef Wanted at Restaurant SAND

We are looking for an experienced sous chef to join Restaurant SAND and help create magical dining experiences with us. As a sous chef, you will play a vital role in our team and have significant responsibility for ensuring the highest quality of both food and service.

About the Position

This is a permanent full-time position starting with a six-month probationary period. Working hours are varied and include both day and evening shifts as well as weekend work. Flexibility and a positive attitude are therefore crucial.

About You

We are looking for someone with:

• Previous experience working as a Sous Chef in a fast-paced restaurant environment
• Experience in ingredient costing and ordering
• Good knowledge of cooking and menu planning
• The ability to work under stressful conditions and with a high workload
• Experience in leading, motivating, and collaborating with others in the team
• A high level of creativity and passion for cooking

Your Main Responsibilities

• Assist the head chef in leading and organizing the kitchen
• Be responsible for food preparation, presentation, and service in the absence of the head chef
• Guide and develop kitchen staff and ensure that guidelines and standards are followed
• Create and develop menus and recipes together with the head chef
• Follow and ensure compliance with applicable hygiene and safety regulations
• Participate in planning and executing events throughout the year
• Cooking, including cold kitchen, hot kitchen, and desserts
