Chef/Kitchen Staff with a Strong Sense of Service! - The position is on weekdays, during the day.

Job Responsibilities

As a chef/kitchen staff, you are an important person with great responsibility in the daily work. You assist in the kitchen with common tasks including planning, preparation, cooking, selling, and serving lunch to the Bistro's guests. Dishwashing, cleaning, and some administration are also part of the job. Working hours are daytime Mon-Fri, by agreement, focusing on our lunch service. The workplace is Åkarp where you will work alongside our current chef/coordinator.

Qualifications

As a person, you are open, outgoing, and positive. You are calm and secure in yourself. You love service and are always professional in your work. You are good at prioritizing, taking your own initiative, and being responsible. You value collaboration, are used to handling multiple tasks simultaneously, and have flexibility in a changing environment.

You should have a couple of years of experience in café or restaurant operations and be knowledgeable in both kitchen work and cash handling. Experience working in a large kitchen environment is also an advantage.

Personal qualities are crucial for this position.

Employment

Fixed-term employment, temporary position, 1.5 years, part-time 50% Vacation job.

Start Date

August or by agreement.

About Tora Vega Academy/Adult Education Center

Tora Vega Academy is run by our principal Tora Vega Adult Education Center. We help organizations and companies conduct workshops, training, and lectures that contribute to skills development or increased motivation. In collaboration with our principal Tora Vega Adult Education Center, we also conduct training in areas such as learning and pedagogy at Campus Åkarp or in our facilities in central Lund.
