Restaurant SOL in Lund is looking for an independent and passionate chef who loves cooking and providing excellent service. We offer a pleasant working environment with high engagement and a focus on quality – both in the kitchen and in our interactions with guests.

About the position:

As a chef with us, you will work with varied tasks in a kitchen where the ingredients are at the center. You will be responsible for planning, preparation, and presentation, and you are not afraid to take your own initiatives. We are looking for someone who is confident in their role and enjoys working independently, but also appreciates being part of an engaged team.

Working hours:

• Weekdays from 07:00 AM to 04:00 PM
• Evening and weekend work may occur as needed

We are looking for someone who:

• Has a genuine interest in food and cooking
• Is independent, responsible, and solution-oriented
• Has solid experience as a chef (preferably from both lunch and à la carte operations)
• Is positive, cooperative, and flexible

About Restaurant SOL:

Restaurant SOL is located adjacent to the Language and Literature Center at Lund University. The center is one of Sweden's largest academic environments in languages, literature, film, theater, and area studies. Daily, students, researchers, and staff gather in an inspiring and culturally rich environment. The SOL buildings, where the operations are located, have also been recognized for their unique architecture and are a vibrant place for both teaching and creative meetings.
