We are now looking for a kitchen assistant for the summer of 2026 at our nursing home

Here you will work You will work independently as the majority of the work is solitary. You will prepare and cook for 25 residents, including dinner, evening meals, and snacks.

Work week Monday to Friday, 0700-1330

Job description

To be considered for the position, you need to:

• Personal suitability is important.

• Good knowledge of the Swedish language in both spoken and written form.

• Have experience and familiarity with both cold and hot kitchens.

We also consider it an advantage if you have previous experience with special diets, meals for the elderly, and knowledge of texture-adapted diets.

To thrive in this role, you care about your fellow human beings, are good at building relationships, have a strong commitment, and are service-oriented. We work in teams as well as independently, so it is important that you are comfortable in that environment.
