Senior Backend Developer for IT Martech

In this role, you will:

• Work with the development and management of marketing technical systems, backend applications, and data integrations.
• Be responsible for and optimize the overall system architecture.
• Be involved from the start in our new IT Martech team and be able to influence the team's way of working.
• Participate in continuously improving the team's development and quality processes.
• Support the business in achieving the vision of an efficient and data-driven approach to create a seamless customer experience.

Martech encompasses all technology used to optimize marketing efforts, including all tools and processes that help marketers plan, execute, measure, and optimize campaigns and activities to create customer value and unique, personalized customer experiences.

As a senior backend developer in our IT Martech team, you will work with the development and management of marketing technical systems and backend integrations for data flows to and from our marketing automation system Adobe Campaign – both to ensure that the campaign team can act on correct data and comply with applicable legal requirements, as well as promote sustainable gaming among our customers. The role also involves developing new microservices for customer communication and robust integrations to, among other things, a cloud-based data platform.

For the right person, the role may also include tasks as a tech lead, collaborating with IT architects to be responsible for the overall system architecture of marketing. You will closely collaborate with other parts of ATG to contribute to product development and a world-class data-driven customer experience.

Is this you?

We place great importance on personal qualities, and to succeed in the role, we see that you have a university degree or equivalent in system development and an understanding of agile working methods. You also have several years of relevant work experience in backend development and a genuine interest in technical marketing and how to create customer value through relevant communication across all channels. We see that you are curious, fearless, and ambitious. Since this is a relatively new team, we appreciate that you are unpretentious and enjoy sharing your knowledge. Furthermore, we are looking for someone with good communication skills in both English and Swedish, as a significant part of the work may be conducted in English. Experience in Machine Learning and AI is a plus.
