Job Description

As a Senior Backend Developer, you will play a key role in developing and consolidating our payment capabilities to enhance the customer experience. You will work in a cross-functional team consisting of a UX designer, architect, and 3-4 developers, with a clear mission and mandate.

Your Profile (Must-Have Requirements)

• Microservices architecture in backend using Java Spring Boot
• Design of reusable backend services within payments
• Implementation of and integration with standardized third-party payment solutions (e.g., Swish)
• Migration and consolidation of payment capabilities, preferably within banking and/or insurance
• Detail high-level architecture from documentation to executable code
• Technologies such as Kubernetes (preferably Redhat Openshift), Java Spring Boot, microservices architecture
• 7+ years of work experience as a Backend Developer

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in a regulated industry such as banking or insurance
• Event-driven architectural patterns
• Integration with mainframe environments and systems
• Development on and of a standardized development platform (IDP)
• Experience working according to DevOps and SRE principles
• Knowledge of security standards and protocols related to payments
