A Smart and Meaningful Choice
Are you solution-oriented, service-minded, and meticulous? Do you want to become our new colleague and share our journey towards sustainable construction? Then take the chance to apply for the position of temporary delivery planner with us at Iggesund Sawmill!
Your Next Workplace?
Iggesund Sawmill saws and processes raw materials from Hälsingland in a modern and high-tech production facility. Here, sawn timber products for carpentry and construction in pine and spruce are manufactured. These products are used for interiors such as furniture, windows, doors, stairs, and floors. We are driven by our passion for timber and are at the forefront of using new technology to maximize the utilization of raw materials. We highly value our employees, just as we do our products. Today, we have around 100 employees. Our sawmill is located on the coast of Hälsingland, 9 kilometers south of Hudiksvall.
Your Future Challenge
The position is a summer temporary job with training starting as soon as possible. Your main task as a delivery planner is to work with load order registration, booking of trucks/boats, and invoicing across several markets. The work involves many contacts both externally and internally. Examples of contact points include customers, freight forwarders, production staff, and our marketing organization. You will follow contracts and orders, stay updated on production status, ensure your orders are picked, and invoice customers.
As a delivery planner, you will be part of the product department, which consists of delivery planners, loading staff, a production planner, and a quality technician.
To Succeed in the Role
We are looking for someone who is a good team player and enjoys collaborating with others, as the role involves many contact points, both internally and externally. You are service-oriented, have a good sense of order, and the ability to see the bigger picture for the benefit of the sawmill. To fit into the role, you must enjoy diving into details while also being able to work with long-term plans. You have the ability and willingness to lift your gaze and see what is the right priority. We believe you thrive in a sometimes fast-paced environment and can easily switch between different tasks.
You have good computer skills and feel comfortable learning and adapting to new systems. It is important that you can communicate clearly in both Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing. A university education is an asset but not a requirement, and we value any experience you may have in similar work.
We are a team without pretensions, with a good sense of community and great commitment!
We Offer You
With us, you get the best of both worlds. At Iggesund Sawmill, we work in a non-hierarchical organization with quick decision-making processes and short distances from idea to implementation. While we are small enough for you to make an impact, we also have the strength of a corporation with the resources to implement development and change.
We offer a varied, free, and responsible job and an opportunity to work with the raw material of the future - wood! We have an open and welcoming atmosphere that is permeated by our values of courage, commitment, and responsibility.
