About the assignment

We are now looking for a project engineer (resource consultant) for the Swedish Transport Administration, Investment Business Area. The business area is responsible for procurement, implementation, and follow-up of the majority of the Swedish Transport Administration's larger reconstruction measures and new investments.

The assignment is linked to the national exchange program for road protection facilities, ALEX (NUVA), which conducts exchanges of road protection facilities along state railways in existing railway environments. Several projects are ongoing and planned nationally over the coming years, involving both design and construction of ALEX facilities.

The NUVA program has employees spread across the country, from Malmö to Luleå, and you will be part of a national context where you support the project organization in the implementation of important infrastructure projects.

About the role

As a project engineer, you will be a key person in the project team and support project management in planning, implementation, and follow-up of projects within the national NUVA program. The assignments may be at different stages and include both preparatory work and implementation in production. The work is varied, with an emphasis on structure, coordination, and administrative project support, and allows you to shape the content based on your skills and experience.

Examples of tasks:

• Work with forecasts, cost follow-up, and invoice management
• Support project managers in planning, follow-up, and ongoing administration
• Manage documentation, record-keeping, and prepare presentation materials
• Plan and coordinate meetings and be responsible for invitations and bookings
• Take minutes and write protocols
• Follow up and update governing documents, risk analyses, and project-specific requirements
• Participate in review and acceptance control of delivered documents
• Assist in the handover of projects to the management/maintenance organization
• Ensure good structure and order in the project's digital system (Project Portal)

Mandatory requirements

All requirements must be clearly stated in the CV, including periods, assignments, scope, and responsibilities.

1. Driving license B.
2. University or college education of at least 180 credits (120 points) with a technical orientation, or other education and work experience deemed equivalent.
3. Documented experience of working as a project engineer or in project management or equivalent. The work must have been carried out for at least 6 months in the last 2 years. In completed assignments, the work must have been carried out independently and with good collaboration. To meet the requirement, the offered consultant must have worked at least 75% of a full-time position.
4. Ability to express oneself well in Swedish, both orally and in writing.

Assignment information

The assignment should start no later than May 11 and last for 1 year from the date the contract comes into effect.

Option: The client has the unilateral opportunity to extend the contract with existing contractual terms for an additional year.

Scope: Estimated workload for the assignment is 100% of annual working time, amounting to 1,700 hours.

The stationing location for the resource consultant is Sundsvall. Some remote work may be allowed by agreement.

Travel may occur to ongoing projects or other offices, approximately 0–4 times per month.
