Groundwork is an important and often technically complex task that spans everything from geotechnical solutions to professionally executed contracting assignments.

About the position

As a site manager with us, you will work closely with the project manager and be responsible for leading the daily production in our projects. The role includes, among other things:

• Planning, leading, and distributing work for skilled workers and subcontractors
• Ensuring quality, work environment, and efficient production
• Maintaining ongoing customer contact and contributing to good relationships
• Planning resources such as personnel, materials, and machinery
• Following up and working according to laws, agreements, routines, and Peab's policies
• Contributing to a good work climate and a well-functioning team
• Handling certain administrative tasks

You will report directly to the project manager and become a central part of the project's progress and results.

Our projects are located in various places, so you need to be mobile and flexible. The role means that you will work where the projects are, which often involves travel and overnight stays from Monday to Thursday. You need to enjoy being out on projects and appreciate the everyday life in production together with the team.

Are you the right fit for the role?

We are looking for someone who has:

• Post-secondary technical education in civil engineering
  or equivalent experience
• At least 2–5 years of experience in the industry, preferably in a leading role
• The ability to plan, organize, and make decisions
• A secure and engaging leadership style
• An interest in developing both yourself and others
• Good computer skills
• Proficient knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
• Driving license B and access to a car
