We are looking for a Project Engineer for the Swedish Transport Administration.

This is a consulting assignment. The stationing location is Sundsvall.

The position is full-time.

The assignment involves close collaboration with the client, which places high demands on flexibility and teamwork.

The Assignment

The role of project engineer within National Investment, primarily placed in the NUVA program (National Exchange Program for Road Protection Facilities ALEX), involves assisting the project manager in starting up, implementing, following up, and closing projects within the agreed scope and within established time and cost frames. The work is conducted in project form and in close collaboration with the project organization, internal specialists, and external actors, in accordance with the Swedish Transport Administration's governing regulations, standards, and directives. The role is primarily administrative and includes support in planning, follow-up, financial management, and documentation, as well as participation in the various phases of the projects from design to production and handover.

Responsibilities

• Financial management, i.e., working with forecasts, cost follow-ups, invoices, etc. • Support project managers with scheduling, administration, follow-up, finance, etc. • Document management, filing, presentation materials, etc. • Arrange meetings, be responsible for invitations and bookings. • Take notes and minutes during meetings. • Follow up and update the project's control program, project specifications, risk analyses, and site-specific requirements. • Participate in the acceptance control of the consultant's delivered documents. • Be responsible for or actively participate in the project's handover process to Maintenance. • Ensure that good order is maintained in the Project Portal.

Requirements (NOTE, mandatory)

Driver's license B

University or college education of at least 180 credits (120 points) with a technical focus, or other education and work experience deemed equivalent.

Documented experience of working as a project engineer or in project management or equivalent. The work must have been carried out for at least 6 months in the last 2 years. In completed assignments, the work must have been carried out independently and with good collaboration. You must have worked at least 75% of a full-time position.

Ability to express oneself well in Swedish, both spoken and written.
