Alarm Technician - Technical Surveillance (Temporary Position)

We are now looking for a temporary alarm technician for technical surveillance (alarm systems, access control, camera systems, and systematic security work) for the Swedish Armed Forces' Telecommunications and Information Systems Unit, FMTIS, located at the Implementation Unit Mitt. Main Responsibilities

The work mainly consists of implementing operations, preventive and corrective maintenance of technical surveillance systems, and participating in systematic security work. The tasks also involve supporting the Armed Forces' other units with support and advice, as well as actively participating in larger projects before, during, and after implementation. The work is varied and is mainly carried out in the Armed Forces' premises and at facilities within the Life Guards' garrison. The position includes placement in a security class.

REQUIREMENTS

Qualifications

Swedish citizen.
3-year high school education with an Electrical/Telecommunications focus or equivalent knowledge acquired in other ways.
Several years of industry experience in modern security technology or equivalent experience and knowledge acquired in other ways.
Good PC and network skills.
Good knowledge of English and Swedish, both spoken and written.
Driving license B (manual transmission).

DESIRABLE

Experience working with mechanical and electromechanical locks
Documented security technology training.
Knowledge of or experience with R-Card M5 Mega, Commend, SALTO, RCO, Galaxy G3/D, Larmnet 6000, S4, Milestone-, Unison-, Axis/Bosch.
Previous experience within a Swedish authority in the area of Technical Surveillance.
Knowledge of ITIL.
Experience with Cisco products.
Experience with Microsoft Server Operating Systems and software.
Experience and knowledge of the Armed Forces' equipment.
BE driving license or higher qualification.
Completed military service, basic military training (GMU), or other military position.
Familiarity with the Armed Forces' organization and systems.

Other

Employment type: Temporary employment until 2027-05-30. The Armed Forces apply a six-month probationary period for those who are not employed by the authority.

Employment rate: Full-time

Work location: Kungsängen. Travel in service both nationally and internationally, as well as planned nationwide on-call duty, may occur.

Civilian position in a security class as military service personnel.

Start date according to agreement.
