The Community Planning Department is one of four departments in Kinda Municipality, and through a broad mandate, we develop the community. Our goal is for everyone to feel joy and engagement in their work and have the right conditions to perform their tasks with confidence. In the unit, you will have 5 colleagues in the areas of environmental protection, individual sewage systems, health protection, and food safety.

Job Responsibilities:

In the Environmental Unit, we are responsible for supervision according to the Environmental Code and food legislation. We work with, among other things, supervision of environmentally hazardous activities, health protection issues, food control, sewage and waste issues, and contaminated areas.

We are now looking for a temporary environmental and health protection inspector. This mainly involves supervision and assessment of environmentally hazardous activities as well as supervision and assessment of individual sewage systems. Your tasks can be partially adapted based on your experiences and wishes.

You are responsible for making administrative decisions in accordance with the delegation order or preparing and presenting cases for political decisions. An important part of the job is to provide qualified advice and information within your area to businesses and citizens.

This is what we expect from you:

We are looking for someone with a university degree focused on environmental and health protection or education and experience deemed equivalent. It is an advantage if you have experience in environmental and health protection supervision and handling of individual sewage systems.

We see it as a given that you are engaged and driven and have the ability to independently plan, structure, and initiate supervision work. As a person, you have the ability to make objective and factual assessments and dare to set demands and make decisions based on your role as a public authority representative. You are solution-oriented and can work both independently and in a team.

As a person, you are communicative and trustworthy, you can express yourself easily both in writing and verbally, and you can adapt your communication to different target groups.

The position requires you to have a good command of Swedish in both speech and writing, good computer skills, and a valid driver's license (B).

The Community Planning Department works with the case management system EDP Vision.
