About the Project Manager Position

In the role of Project Manager with us, you will have a varied and responsible everyday life where you have overall responsibility for the implementation of projects. You plan, lead, and follow up on the work while being operational in production when necessary. You drive projects all the way from startup to delivery, maintain ongoing dialogue with customers, and ensure that set goals for time and budget are met. For you, it is natural to be present in the operations and support the team practically when needed.

Your main responsibilities:

Plan and lead project meetings and be responsible for documentation
Follow up on finances, budgets, and timelines
Participate in production to ensure quality, pace, and results
Be the contact person for the customer and follow up on deliveries

Who are you?

We believe you have experience in project management, preferably from boat, shipyard, or construction-related activities. You have a genuine interest in marine environments and thrive best close to practical production. As a leader, you are down-to-earth, solution-oriented, and good at engaging people. You work in a structured manner, communicate clearly, and do not hesitate to ask for support when the situation requires it.

We would like you to have:

Experience working in project organizations
Knowledge of boat construction
The ability to manage multiple parallel projects
Experience in reading drawings and basic CAD (meritorious)
Good knowledge of Swedish and English
Driver's license (B)

Swede Ship Marine is a new construction shipyard located in Djupvik on Tjörn, with roots dating back to 1894. We build special vessels in aluminum for customers such as the Coast Guard, Maritime Administration, and the Navy.
