The Role with Us

As an operation and maintenance worker with us, you will work with traffic closures, winter maintenance, summer ground work, and smaller construction tasks. The job includes being on call, which means being responsible for dispatching sand trucks and plowing units and managing communication with contractors. The on-call duty is scheduled.

Your Experience

We are looking for someone with:

• Experience in earthworks and construction or other relevant experience from the contracting industry.
• A practical educational background and a preference for teamwork.
• A valid B driver's license.
• Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, is required.

We consider certifications in hot work and Work on Roads 1.1, 1.2, 1.3, 2.2, and 2.3 as meritorious. Heavier driving licenses such as C/CE and operator certificates for wheel loaders are also advantageous within the organization.

We are looking for someone who is practical, responsible, and engaged in their work. The operations are somewhat event-driven based on what happens on the streets/roads, which requires some flexibility. You are communicative and take responsibility for creating a good community and achieving great results with your colleagues. We place great emphasis on your personal qualities.

Additional Information

The employment is a permanent position, with a probationary period applied.

The place of employment is Borås.

The position includes winter on-call duty and summer preparedness, which may sometimes require work outside regular hours. You will report to the site manager for the operational area. Start date by agreement.
