About the Residence

Vårdsätravägen 78 is a residence within social psychiatry for adults within all diagnostic groups of psychiatry. We work to build relationships and create conditions for an improved living situation and reduced social exclusion. We work preventively, with a low-affect approach, and based on the individual's needs and possibilities. The residence is located close to nature with proximity to public transport.

Job Description

Your role is to support our clients in achieving increased independence both at home and in social contexts. You motivate and support them in their daily lives, ensure that their basic care needs are met, and assist with household chores and practical tasks. The work also includes working based on implementation plans, collaborating with colleagues at the residence, and maintaining contact with relatives, guardians, and administrators.

The position involves working according to a rotating schedule with day, evening, and weekend shifts, as well as on-call duties.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with a nursing assistant degree with a focus on psychiatry or other education that the employer deems relevant for the position. To succeed in the job, you need to have experience working with people with mental disabilities. The work requires good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written, as well as a B driver's license.

As a person, you are calm, attentive, and accommodating in your interactions. You have the interest, willingness, and ability to help others and strive to deliver solutions. Furthermore, you are flexible and can easily adapt to changing circumstances. You can quickly change your perspective and approach. Last but not least, you are good at structuring, planning, and prioritizing your work.
