The Individual and Family Administration is responsible for actions according to SoL and LSS, which include individual and family care and care for persons with disabilities. Municipal citizens in need of social services can receive advice, support, and assistance. In most cases, our assistance and actions are provided after an individual assessment as part of our authority's exercise. We aim for the assistance we provide to lead to independence.

The operations focus on actions for children, youth, and their parents, substance abuse issues, domestic violence, persons with disabilities who need support in their daily lives, individuals in need of financial support, labor market measures, rehabilitation, and integration.

We are looking for two personal assistants for a newly started personal assistance case. The user is a man living in the central parts of Nybro. The workgroup will consist of two assistants working day/evening/weekend. Since this is a newly started workgroup, it is important that the individuals who receive these positions are good at building up the structure and documentation needed to meet the user's needs.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Care and support work such as transfers, communication, household chores, delegated tasks. The user moves with a wheelchair and has reduced vision and hearing, so it is important to adapt communication according to the person's abilities.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with a background in care and support education or child and leisure education or other equivalent education. You have a good ability to work in a low-arousal manner and with clear pedagogical methods. We would prefer if you have experience in the profession. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.
