About the Job

The dispatch center works with assessment and prioritization of medical cases via 112 as well as with break and resource coordination for non-emergency patient transport and air ambulance. Our mission is to ensure that the patient receives the right care at the right level with the right resource at the right time, which can occur through ambulance, air ambulance, non-emergency transport, or referral to a seated medical transport.

We work in teams, including triaging incoming 112 calls where we follow up on patients waiting for resources (ambulance, mobile primary care teams, etc.). We also coordinate ambulances, helicopters, and non-emergency transports to allocate appropriate pre-hospital resources.

The operation runs around the clock, and for this position, we are looking for a nurse who will work both day, evening, and weekend shifts.

About You

We are looking for a licensed nurse with three years of work experience as a nurse. As a person, we seek someone who is structured, clear, stress-resistant, has good multitasking ability, as well as teamwork skills and good communication skills with a positive attitude towards others. You also speak Swedish fluently in both speech and writing and have good knowledge of English. Additional language skills are considered an asset.

It is important that you are accustomed to working with technical aids such as IT and telephony, as you will be working in an advanced high-tech environment. Experience with CoordCom, Alitis, SAFE, or other dispatch center systems is advantageous. Previous experience in pre-hospital care and proficiency in the Office suite is also considered an asset. Personal suitability for the position will be of great importance.
