Summer Job Night Patrol in Nacka Municipality

Your Mission

The Night Patrol performs home care services for clients in their private homes at night from 10:15 PM to 7:30 AM. You work in a team with colleagues, and it is extremely important to keep in mind that it is the client's wishes and needs that guide your work. The Night Patrol also responds to incoming alarms from Nacka's clients at night, and you always work in pairs, which means you should also support your colleague when unforeseen care situations arise. Quick and correct action may be required, so you must be confident in your role and able to remain calm.

We are a car-based home care service, and all vehicles are equipped with GPS and depart from Sofiero Senior Center in Björknäs. The client's needs are always the starting point for the services, and common tasks include care, supervision, and responding to alarms. Documentation is also an important part of your work. For this position, you must have:

• Be at least 18 years old
• Experience working in home care or elderly care
• Very good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
• A B driver's license (manual) and very good driving experience on all road surfaces and in darkness
• Ability to handle technical aids easily

It is an advantage if you also have:

• Ongoing or completed education in health and care
• Experience with documentation, computers, and systems
• Proficiency in languages other than Swedish
• Experience with dementia patients

As a summer substitute in the night and alarm patrol, you are employed by the Competence Supply Staff who is responsible for coordinating and ensuring the quality of staffing care personnel during short-term absences and monthly substitutes.
