Temporary Workers for Internal Logistics in Borås

The Supply Management Administration is a department within the Västra Götaland Region. The operations are conducted throughout Västra Götaland with a focus on supply and logistics for the region's various activities. We develop and deliver services in meals, laundry, pharmaceutical-related products, and aids, as well as stock and distribute products.

We are now looking for temporary workers to join a wonderful team in Internal Logistics in Borås!

Job Responsibilities

Are you a social person who enjoys meeting new people and working in an environment where something is always happening? Then the role of service worker is perfect for you! We offer a varied and developing workplace where you will have the opportunity to assist our customers with a range of service assignments.

The tasks include:

• unpacking materials
• reporting and following up on delivery discrepancies
• driving is included
• transporting goods, pharmaceuticals, textiles, and waste internally and externally

Qualifications:

You have a completed upper secondary education and can communicate well in Swedish as you will be interacting with customers and colleagues as well as following written and verbal instructions. If you have learned Swedish through SFI, you must have completed at least SFI course D and have experience practicing the Swedish language, e.g., through an internship.

A driver's license (B) is required for the position as driving is part of the job. Your IT skills are good; you can use a smartphone, tablet, email, place orders, and search for information online. You have the physical ability to walk and stand throughout the workday, lift heavy items, or perform repetitive tasks. A driver's license for a passenger car is a requirement.

Knowledge of healthcare articles and needs, experience in janitorial services, transportation, and goods reception is advantageous, as well as a forklift license.

To succeed in the role of service worker, you need to:

• have good social and communication skills
• collaborate well with others
• be self-motivated, flexible, and responsible
• show willingness, engagement, and interest in providing good service

The work is scheduled for weekdays during daytime and evening hours.

The degree of employment varies depending on absences, volumes, and sick leave.
