ISS Facility Services has an exciting collaboration with a customer in the automotive industry with multiple sites in Sweden. We are now looking for a Operations Technician in Control and Regulation Technology for the customer's site in Tuve. The Role
As an Operations Technician in Control and Regulation Technology, you will be responsible for supervision, maintenance, optimization, and corrective maintenance of properties and their technical systems' control and regulation functions. In your role, you will have daily communication with customers, employees, and suppliers. You will be an important and valuable part of a dedicated team of technicians contributing to ensuring that our customer's premises and properties convey a comprehensive experience of a safe, attractive, modern, and sustainable workplace for employees and visitors. On-call duty may be included. The position is a permanent employment with an initial 6-month probationary period.
Examples of tasks:
- Adjustment of control and regulation functions for optimal operation of heating, cooling, and ventilation.
- Operation monitoring, alarm management, and optimization via control, regulation, and monitoring systems.
- Control and modification of operating times, operating conditions, set values, and other important parameters.
- Troubleshooting, service, and maintenance.
- Develop and propose improvement measures and alternative solutions within property automation.
- Alarm management.
- Assistance in analyses regarding energy and media monitoring.
- Installation.
Your Background
We are looking for someone with an ECY certificate and experience in automation/control and regulation technology, preferably with at least 5 years of experience in the field. You have good knowledge of energy optimization as well as control and monitoring systems and the impact of various types of regulation functions on indoor climate and operational strategies. Understanding of the structure and levels of control systems, system availability, modern/smart technology, and the difference between traditional and open systems. You also have process understanding of heating, cooling, ventilation, and the climate impact and functionality of control and regulation systems. You have a B driver's license.
Knowledge in HVAC, PLC programming, and Scada is considered an advantage. It is also advantageous if you have Hot Work and Forklift certificates.
