Are you a senior calculation engineer/designer who wants to contribute to sustainable and quality solutions within our business area of Storage Equipment?

We are looking for someone with a master's degree in engineering who wants to develop with us in a role where collaboration and technical expertise are at the center.

About the Role

As a calculation engineer/designer, you will be involved in the entire process of our projects within Storage Equipment, from the initial concept to the finished construction. You will be responsible for performing strength calculations and preparing documentation that meets both the customer's specific needs, the company's quality requirements, and industry standards.

You will work closely with sales, project managers, and production, where together you identify, develop, and create optimal solutions for our customers. Since our production and design departments are located under the same roof, you can easily follow your products from idea through practical testing to a complete, finished solution.

We operate globally in an international market, and as an important part of the team, you actively contribute to improving our work processes, drive development projects, and help develop EAB's product range. You will report to our design manager, and the location is Smålandsstenar, with some flexibility. You should live within a reasonable commuting distance.

Your Profile

• We believe you have a master's degree in construction, engineering, or a similar field and have several years of experience as a calculation engineer/designer. You need to have good knowledge of strength calculations and the ability to read technical standards.
• If you have experience using calculation programs such as RSTAB, Frame Analysis, IDEA StatiCa, or similar, this is the job for you! It is a plus if you also have experience with Abaqus and programming skills.
• You are fluent in both Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
