Your New Job

As a construction worker, you will be organizationally part of the Production department and the Construction unit. We carry out construction work and contracting tasks that contribute to a sustainable and pleasant environment. Our responsibilities include a wide variety of ground works, including excavation, cable laying, maintenance of green areas, safety adjustments for road users, and installation of park equipment.

As a construction worker, you will be part of one of two construction teams where you will take on the role of coordinator and work leader. The work is primarily outdoors for most of the year. The days and tasks in this position vary, with a focus on quality and efficiency.

Your workplace will vary as you will be based from a workshop.

Job Responsibilities:

• Coordinate assignments
• Construction of pedestrian and vehicle roads, drainage work, retaining walls, stone setting, reconstruction of intersections, etc.
• Work on behalf of clients
• Be the technical office's face to the public
• Basic diary management, reporting, and documentation
• Internal collaboration and independent work
• Be part of the emergency preparedness organization

Your Competence

Requirements

• Education in construction or relevant work experience that the employer deems equivalent
• Experience in construction or other experience that the employer deems equivalent
• Good knowledge of construction
• Swedish spoken and written
• Good physical condition
• Driver's license B manual transmission
• Good computer skills

Meritorious

• Bas-U
• Machine operator license for excavators or wheel loaders
• Work on roads
• Experience in stone setting

The recruitment concerns a permanent position at 100% with a start date according to agreement.

Interviews are planned for after the application period ends, week 13.
