The position is located within the Health and Care Administration, which is one of eight administrations in Linköping Municipality. The Health and Care Administration is responsible for the municipality's elderly care, health care, authority execution, ordering of services, and provides care and support in its own right. We work with a focus on quality and professionalism to make each day as good as possible for the residents of Linköping who need us. Your Responsibilities

Are you a person who is passionate about making a difference? Do you willingly share a smile and a laugh even on the most challenging days? Then you are the one we are looking for in the home care service in Bankekind and Linghem!

As an employee with us, you will be part of an engaged team working to improve the quality of life for our elderly in Bankekind and Linghem. Here, we place great importance on individual needs and work with methods such as IBIC (individual needs in focus) and a salutogenic approach.

Your tasks include:

• Providing personal care such as personal hygiene, care, and medical interventions
• Offering support and practical help in daily life
• Helping our elderly feel safe and well at home
• Documenting care and interventions in our journal system (Treserva)
• Being a fixed care contact for one or more individuals
• Participating in welcome conversations and establishing individual implementation plans and follow-ups
• Maintaining close contact with relatives and other partners

With us, you will work to provide good service, create wonderful relationships, and contribute to enhanced quality of life for each individual. Your day may also include accompanying on care visits, shopping, or going for a walk.

The positions refer to 3 permanent employments and 1 temporary position with an end date of 270131. The employment rate for the positions is between 80-100%. Working hours are scheduled for days, evenings, and every other weekend.

Your Workplace

Linghem's sheltered housing, with associated home care, is just a short 10-minute walk from Linghem station. The area combines proximity to amenities with beautiful surroundings, situated between Linköping and Norrköping, and is easily accessible by train. Here we offer 20 apartments and support to customers in Linghem and surrounding areas.

In Bankekind's home care, we work in Bankekind, Askeby, and Gistad and operate from our office on Linvägen in Bankekind. The team consists of 18 employees, coordinators, and a manager. With us, you will work to meet the individual needs of customers. Together with your colleagues, you are an important piece of the puzzle in creating a meaningful everyday life for our customers.

Our operations collaborate closely, giving you the opportunity to work in both Linghem and Bankekind. Regardless of where you work, you will experience the fantastic Östergötland nature as part of your workday. With both bike and car, you can easily reach our customers for planned interventions and alarms.

Who You Are

Do you have previous experience in care, support, and assistance? Then you are the one we are looking for! In addition, it is positive if you have a completed high school education, preferably as a nursing assistant. Experience working in home care is also meritorious. We also view previous experience with a salutogenic approach, low-affective response, and IBIC as positive.

In elderly care, our customers are at the center. The tasks involve a lot of customer contacts and documentation, making it important that you can express yourself well both verbally and in writing in Swedish. You also need to be comfortable using digital tools, and if you have experience documenting in journal systems, we see that as a plus. To be able to move between different customers, it is a requirement that you can cycle, and having a B driver's license is meritorious.

We are looking for someone who is self-driven, responsible, and has the ability to push your work forward. At the same time, you enjoy collaborating and have an easy time communicating and building good relationships. Empathy is one of your strongest traits – you can put yourself in others' perspectives and act with understanding for their situation.
