The Neurology Clinic is a highly specialized operation with regional responsibility for the entire Southeast healthcare region.

We conduct advanced diagnostics, investigations, and treatment of patients with complex neurological diseases. The clinic includes a care department with an acute neurology unit, stroke unit, highly specialized investigation unit, and monitoring unit. In addition, there are two outpatient clinics and a neuromuscular laboratory. We have approximately 155 dedicated employees.

Job Description

As a nurse in the neurology outpatient clinic, you will work with patients who are being investigated and followed up for various neurological symptoms and diagnoses, such as neuromuscular diseases, movement disorders, epilepsy, and other neurological conditions. The work is varied and includes:

• Telephone advice.
• Teamwork with doctors, nursing assistants, paramedics, and administrative staff.
• Participation in specialized clinics such as migraine and infusion clinics, largely run by nurses.
• Service in our elective day care unit, which is an important part of our highly specialized mission, is included in the tasks.

You will work both independently and in close collaboration with other professionals in a multiprofessional team.

About You

We are looking for a licensed nurse who has an interest in neurology, development, and teamwork. Experience in outpatient work or neurology is an advantage but not a requirement – we place great emphasis on personal qualities and the willingness to learn.

To perform well, good collaboration skills are required, as well as the ability to listen and communicate smoothly and sensitively. You should enjoy a dynamic environment where things do not always go as planned. In your work, you are organized and can prioritize your tasks effectively and safely for patients. Personal suitability is highly valued.
