Within the Linköping Care Clinic, there are three sections: Section LAH, Geriatric Section, and Section Home Care.

Section LAH is responsible for ensuring that people in Linköping, Åtvidaberg, and Ydre are offered good palliative care based on each individual's unique needs, regardless of diagnosis, partly by providing specialized home care and specialized palliative inpatient care in ward 96, but also by supporting other caregivers in the palliative care process. Section Home Care is responsible for medical interventions in short-term accommodations in Linköping.

Job Description

We are now looking for a specialist physician for Section LAH to complement our medical team based on specialty, experience, and personality. Work within Section Home Care is included in the assignment. We have a well-established teamwork that is based on a clear common value foundation and actively works with competence development within the group. Research and development are conducted at the clinic. We have well-developed meeting forums and work together to contribute to the clinic's development and improvement. As a specialist physician with us, you will also mentor junior doctors and students, as well as perform regular on-call duties.

About You

You are a licensed specialist physician, preferably in palliative medicine. If you lack specialist training in palliative medicine, it is expected that you will complete it within the position at the clinic. As you work in constant dialogue with patients, relatives, colleagues, and other services, it is a requirement that you have very good knowledge of the Swedish language in both speech and writing. You hold a valid B driver's license.

As a person, you are secure and stable in your professional role and relate to others in a responsive and flexible manner. You listen and communicate in a clear and open way. Furthermore, you find it easy to adapt to changing circumstances and see opportunities in changes. You see the whole picture and weigh complex information in actions and decisions. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
