Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Reception

The Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Reception is part of the BUP clinic in Linköping, which conducts qualified assessment and treatment work for children and adolescents aged 0 to 18 years.

The core activities consist of outpatient, intermediate, and inpatient care, as well as several subspecialized units. At the clinic, we strive for a warm and open working atmosphere. The clinic is a university-affiliated unit, which means that core activities include, alongside health and medical care, clinical research and education, as well as knowledge application and dissemination for the development of health and medical care. Job Description

As a psychology assistant with us, you will have the opportunity to gain experience in BUP operations through clearly defined tasks within the field of psychology. The primary tasks will be assessments, care planning, and counseling. The work is conducted under the supervision of a licensed psychologist employed at the clinic. With us, you will have the opportunity to work with patients (0–18 years) with a wide variety of psychiatric conditions. This provides a job with both variety and exciting challenges. The tasks also include collaboration with care neighbors and other actors. Visits take place on-site at the relevant unit and/or via digital meeting formats. As an employee at the BUP clinic, you will receive support and supervision from experienced colleagues, team coordinators, and a manager within the unit where you are employed.

About You

We are looking for someone with a degree in psychology or T8 with completed internship. Experience in health and medical care, such as child and adolescent psychiatry, is an advantage.

As a person, you need to be self-assured, proactive, and structured. To succeed in the role, you need to have good collaboration skills. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
