Within the social care administration, about 1200 dedicated employees work to provide support and care to those in need in our municipality. The work takes place within elderly care, home care, disability services, social psychiatry, and individual and family care.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Welcome to Ystad municipality's trainee program, where you get a unique chance to develop and gain a comprehensive view of municipal primary care!
The trainee program is aimed at those who are new to the role of nurse and are interested in developing within municipal primary care. Municipal primary care is a complex operation, which is why you will have the support of a senior nurse who provides you with safe guidance. You will have the opportunity to work broadly within home care in both regular and special housing. You will make medical assessments, manage medications, and provide support and advice to the care staff. Your role also involves planning health and medical care interventions for those in need of care and maintaining good contact with relatives, something we hope you value highly.
Under supervision, you will gain a comprehensive view of our entire operation and have the opportunity to work in several different areas, including: Care in our homes, home care, LSS operations, and emergency services.

QUALIFICATIONS
To thrive in the role of trainee nurse, you need to be meticulous, adaptable to situations, and have a holistic view of patients' needs.
We are looking for someone who is:
- A licensed nurse at the date of employment
- Has a B driver's license
- Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.
You need to be curious to learn more and have an easy time learning new systems and routines. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
Have you already gained some shorter work experience as a nurse? Then we will make an individual assessment of your qualification for our trainee program.
