Vårdcentralen Drottninghög is located in northeastern Helsingborg near the beautiful open-air museum Fredriksdal. It is a multicultural area, which makes our work even more varied and exciting. We currently have about 7,500 listed patients and approximately 800 listed children at the child health center (BVC).

At the health center, there are specialist clinics for diabetes, asthma/COPD, lifestyle issues, and a lab staffed by nursing assistants. Physiotherapists, psychologists, dietitians, and occupational therapists are part of our teamwork, ensuring high quality in the work we do. At our district nurse clinic, we work with elderly care in close collaboration with home care services in the area, and we also conduct memory assessments.

We have a family center, Oliven, with an attached child health center (BVC). Additionally, in close collaboration with the Employment Agency, the Social Insurance Agency, and the Public Employment Service, we have developed a rehabilitation team, which includes a medical expert and a rehabilitation coordinator.

We have ongoing development work at the health center to further improve quality and work environment, where new ideas and thoughts are welcomed. There are good opportunities for public transport and also access to parking. JOB DESCRIPTION

We now welcome a physiotherapist to us at Vårdcentralen Drottninghög!

Your main tasks consist of outpatient activities where you perform examinations, assessments, treatments, and follow-ups of commonly occurring medical conditions in primary care. Patients of all ages and with various diagnoses come to us, but the most common issues are related to the musculoskeletal system. You will work with both individual treatment and lead various group activities. You will plan your daily work with a high degree of freedom and trust from colleagues and management.

QUALIFICATIONS

You who are applying are a licensed physiotherapist with the authority to practice within Swedish healthcare. Language skills in Swedish at least corresponding to level C1 according to the Council of Europe’s scale are a requirement. We consider it an advantage if you have previous experience working as a physiotherapist in primary care. It is also advantageous if you have further education in OMT, OMI, MDT, and/or acupuncture, as well as experience with the PMO journal system.
