We are a healthcare center with about 50 employees and approximately 12,000 registered patients, as well as 1,000 registered children at the BVC. Our interdisciplinary collaboration between different professions is central to our work. We offer, among other things, medical consultations, nursing consultations, clinics for asthma/COPD, elderly care, and diabetes, as well as extensive physiotherapeutic and psychosocial activities. We are a training healthcare center for ST doctors.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We welcome you as a medical secretary to our wonderful team!

The work involves common tasks for a medical secretary at a healthcare center. This includes, among other things, writing medical records, reception duties, managing waiting lists, scheduling doctor appointments, and handling referral flows. An important part of the role is to support other staff in their daily work. The medical team uses TIK to some extent. We work in systems such as PMO, MedSpeech, PASiS, Filur, Qlikview, Raindance, and 1177. The work also includes various administrative responsibilities, making it varied and stimulating. We have a good working climate, and you will be part of a team with other medical secretaries, where you will have the opportunity to develop alongside colleagues with high competence in the field.

QUALIFICATIONS

Regarding formal qualifications, you have an approved education in health and medical care administration (80 credits KY or 400 credits YH), or equivalent medical secretary training. Furthermore, it is a requirement for the position to have good knowledge of medical terminology and the Swedish language, both spoken and written. You have an interest in IT and digital working methods as well as development. We would also like you to have training in Disease Classification. Understanding and knowledge of scheduling is also valuable.
