What does the job entail?

As a service technician, you will work with service, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Epiroc's underground machines – primarily trucks and loaders. The role involves planning and executing your tasks independently at the customer's site, often in underground environments. You are responsible for ensuring high operational reliability, quality, and safety in your work, and you handle both planned interventions and urgent issues in a structured manner.

The work is based in our workshop in Skellefteå but is mainly performed at our customers' sites in the region.

Who are you?

We are looking for someone who has:

• At least a couple of years of previous experience in service/maintenance in heavy environments, preferably from mining or heavy vehicles. Previous experience with Epiroc's underground machines is highly meritorious.
• Good knowledge of mechanics, hydraulics, and electronics.
• The ability to work completely independently, take initiative, and solve both urgent and long-term problems.
• A calm and structured approach to work, even when the pace is high.
• Experience with digital reporting.
• A valid driver's license (B).

Location and working hours

The position is based in Skellefteå. Daily travel to our customers in the Västerbotten inland is included. Daytime work Monday–Thursday, with the possibility of overnight stays.
