We are now looking for a calculation engineer to strengthen our team in the Mechanical Engineering department within the Delivery function at our Skellefteå office. Here, you will have the opportunity to feel a sense of community in project teams but also stand on your own where you have direct customer contact!

Your Responsibilities

As a calculation engineer, you will support our customers, delivery projects, and product lines with advanced calculations such as FEM, fatigue, and CFD analyses. In this role, you will provide technical support and advice during the design work and ensure that constructions meet applicable standards and norms. You will also assist in the sales phase by interpreting local and international requirements to identify potential risks and costs at an early stage.

In your assignments, you will coordinate your work with other disciplines and teams and compile technical documentation such as calculation bases, analyses, and technical reports. Depending on the scope of the assignment, the role may also involve factory and customer visits. An important part of the internal work is to contribute to the development, improvement, and maintenance of routines within the calculation area.

You will report to project management and overall design managers in the projects as well as to the head of the Mechanical Engineering department.

Your Profile

To succeed in this role, you have a bachelor's or master's degree in mechanical engineering, technical physics, or equivalent, as well as experience in advanced calculations within industrial facility projects. You have excellent computer skills and are accustomed to working with tools such as Office, CAD, ANSYS, and other relevant engineering applications.

You work in a structured and proactive manner and have good communication skills in both spoken and written Swedish and English. Your personal qualities make it easy for you to collaborate, influence, and, when necessary, take technical leadership in projects. You are flexible, unpretentious, and willing to contribute where needed.

Since our customers are located around the world, we see that you have the ability and willingness to travel, both within Sweden and internationally.
