Do you want to work with planning and preparation in electricity distribution and be an important part of Sweden's energy transition? We are now looking for a Preparation Specialist for Local Networks based in Stockholm.

This is a direct recruitment, which means you will be employed directly by the client company from day one. The recruitment process is managed by eLinked.

We can also assist with housing solutions in Stockholm if needed.

In the role of preparation specialist, you will work with technical planning and project preparation within the electricity grid, primarily local networks. You will be responsible for ensuring that projects are properly prepared before construction and that the work meets requirements for safety, quality, and economy.

Tasks include, among others:

• Technical preparation of electricity network projects (0.4–24 kV)
• Design of underground cable networks, overhead networks, and substations
• Network calculations and technical sizing
• Preparation of work maps, material specifications, and work documentation
• Cost estimation and budgeting
• Permit management and contact with landowners, customers, and authorities
• Coordination with project managers and contractors

You will be based in Stockholm but can work both from the office and in the field depending on project needs.

We are looking for someone with technical understanding in electrical power and who wants to further develop within electricity network design and preparation.

Requirements:

• Electrical engineering education or equivalent work experience
• Experience working with local networks
• At least 1–3 years of experience as a preparer, distribution electrician, or similar role (more experience is of course an advantage)
• Good computer skills
• Swedish and English in speech and writing
• Driver's license B

Desirable competencies:

• Knowledge of EBR
• Experience with design tools and network information systems
• Cost estimation and contract law
• Experience with electricity distribution 0.4–24 kV
