About the Client:

A charming and happy 7-year-old boy is looking for an engaged and warm respite caregiver; he is very active. He requires constant supervision as he lacks consequence thinking and can put himself in various risky situations that you, as a staff member, need to foresee and redirect. He has limited speech with a few words, so your ability to perceive alternative communication such as body language and different sounds is crucial for interpreting him.

He loves being outdoors! He enjoys hanging out at the playground and wants you to engage in play with him.

Qualifications/Requirements for Respite Caregiver:

• Experience with NPF diagnoses
• Gender does not matter, but being playful is a requirement!
• You are an active person who prefers to be in motion rather than sitting still.
• Be comfortable assisting with toilet visits; the boy uses diapers at certain times.

About the Position:

The service is performed on Saturdays for about 3 hours per occasion. Start date as soon as possible.

As a respite caregiver, you relieve relatives of, for example, a child with a disability in the home or local area. This can be to give parents some personal time with other siblings.

According to the law on background checks and God Care's policy, anyone working with minors must present an extract from the police's criminal and suspicion register before employment.
