Personal assistance is an intervention according to LSS (The Act on Support and Service for Certain Disabled Persons). As a personal assistant, you provide individual support and care to individuals who have been granted personal assistance because they need help with one or more basic needs. Each client is unique, and your tasks vary based on the client's needs. You respect the client's self-determination and privacy, and contribute to a smooth daily life.

About the position

The role of a personal assistant requires a high ability to create good relationships. Therefore, we are looking for someone who is attentive, engaged, and responsible. It is also important that you can take your own initiatives and see what needs to be done.

We are looking for an active person who enjoys going for walks and has an interest in movies.

We are now looking for someone who meets the following criteria:

• wants to work with a 21-year-old girl living in Vega

• has good knowledge of Swedish

• is tolerant of pets, there is a cat in the home

• has experience as a personal assistant or in healthcare

It is also an advantage if you:

• have experience with autism

• are patient and talkative

• share the client’s interests

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

Working hours, employment rate, and salary:

We are currently looking for two personal assistants. The current employment form is "As long as the assistance assignment lasts" and the positions are approximately 50-60%. The job involves working during daytime and evening hours on weekdays and weekends.

Fixed hourly wage according to agreement and other compensations are in accordance with collective agreements.

A prerequisite for starting employment with us at Humana is that you can present valid ID and any documents that prove your right to work in Sweden. To work as a personal assistant, you must be at least 18 years old.
