Material Coordinator

Your Role

As a Material Coordinator, you play a central and active role in supporting our production. You act as a key person with a holistic perspective and take responsibility for ensuring that the right materials are in the right place at the right time. The role is both demanding and decision-making, where you work proactively to prevent material shortages and ensure an efficient production chain.

Your main responsibilities:

• Monitor material status throughout the flow
• Demand actions in case of delivery deviations against production and purchasing
• Decide on internal prioritization in case of material needs
• Analyze trends and causes of material shortages
• Work proactively to prevent shortages and reduce emergency handling of items

In this role, you collaborate with various parts of the organization, including production management, program management, production planning, purchasing, industrialization, etc. The work involves handling large amounts of information, and much of the work is done in IFS/ERP and Q-sense.

Your Profile

We place great importance on personality. We are also looking for someone with experience from a similar role or from other positions within planning or workshop support. You are used to taking your own initiatives, making decisions, and collaborating with different functions within the organization. To succeed in this role, you need to be communicative, solution-oriented, and able to prioritize in a complex environment. Knowledge of material driving and/or production operations is an advantage.

The position requires you to undergo and be approved according to the applicable regulations for security protection. For positions where Saab has requirements for security classification, this may, in some cases, entail requirements for certain citizenship.
