Do you want to make a real difference?
Here you contribute to creating safety for people and communities. What you do matters.
Your Role
We are looking for a software-oriented systems engineer in aerospace technology. In this role, you will be involved in the realization of regulatory software for control systems and flight autonomy - at the forefront of technology.
We are building a new area, giving you a unique opportunity to influence from the start. The newly established Flight Control Item section is responsible for the realization of aerospace technology and control systems in both software and hardware, as well as for developing and driving modeling in the area.
The section is part of BU Advanced Programs, whose mission is to look forward to tomorrow's flying vehicles. Right now, there is a strong focus on unmanned systems, while studies are also being conducted on manned systems. The work takes place in the form of demonstrators, rigs, and studies, where ideas are turned into concrete technology.
The position may involve travel.
Your Profile
We are looking for someone who is passionate about software and genuinely enjoys developing and improving technical solutions. You are curious, structured, and have a desire to continuously learn more. Since we work in teams, your ability to collaborate is important - you enjoy sharing knowledge, discussing solutions, and working together towards common goals.
- We believe you are an engineering graduate, preferably with a focus on software and/or aerospace technology. Above all, you have the ambition to develop and become really skilled in your field.
- The work is primarily done in C and ADA, along with Matlab and Simulink. As we build new and develop future solutions, more modern tools will also be evaluated and introduced.
- You need to have good knowledge of both Swedish and English.
The position requires you to undergo and be approved according to the applicable security protection regulations. For positions where Saab has requirements for security classification, this may entail requirements for certain citizenship.
Please note that we are working with ongoing selection and the position may be filled before the application deadline has expired.
